FAQ Cosmetic Teeth Whitening
Teeth whitening is suitable for most people and is a safe and comfortable experience.
It is NOT suitable if you are:
- UNDER 16 YEARS
- PREGNANT OR BREASTFEEDING
- HAVE A GUM DISEASE OR REQUIRE EXTREME DENTAL WORK
All treatments are hygienic non-touch procedures. The products used throughout the treatment are made up of gentle ingredients that have been approved for use in Australia.
The answer is YES! Yes, you can have your veneers or crowns whitened, this will not affect the result. Keep in mind the treatment will not whiten the tooth, it will only whiten the stains on the tooth.
If you already experience having sensitive teeth or gums the treatments are still extremely safe for you to have done.
Ensuring that you use sensitive toothpaste prior to your appointment and after your appointment will help reduce any further sensitivity. You will also receive a de-sensitising gel after your appointment if you wish to use it.
Treatments are not recommended if you require extreme dental work or have any open cavities.

FAQ Tooth Gems
Tooth Gems are suitable for most people and is a safe and comfortable experience.
It is NOT suitable if you are:
- UNDER 16 YEARS
- HAVE COMPOSITE OR VENEERS
You will notice the feeling of the gem for the first day or so, it is not uncomfortable and you will get used to it! After a day, you won’t even realise that it’s there!
The application of a tooth gem is 100% reversible. If you would like them to be removed it is recommended to see a dentist to ensure all adhesives are correctly and completely removed. The tooth will simply be polished/ buffed to remove any remaining bonds.
If all aftercare instructions are followed correctly, the gem will last anywhere between 2-24 months. The natural acidity of your client’s saliva and diet plays a big part on how long an application lasts. The average time however, would be approximately one year.
You can still undergo regular teeth whitening treatments with a gem in place. The technician simply needs to apply their HP gel around the gem. We recommend a teeth whitening treatment prior to application for optimal results. Check out our Teeth Whitening + Gem Packages
Yes, it is perfectly normal and safe to have more than 1 gem on your teeth. We have packages for you to customise your smile with 3+ gems, you can add as many as 20 if you wish.
