Tooth Diamonds are suitable for most people and is a safe and comfortable experience.
It is NOT suitable if you are:
- UNDER 16 YEARS
- HAVE COMPOSITE OR VENEERS
You will notice the feeling of the gem for the first day or so, it is not uncomfortable and you will get used to it! After a day, you won’t even realise that it’s there!
The application of a tooth gem is 100% reversible. If you would like them to be removed it is recommended to see a dentist to ensure all adhesives are correctly and completely removed. The tooth will simply be polished/ buffed to remove any remaining bonds.
If all aftercare instructions are followed correctly, the diamond will last anywhere between 2-24 months. The natural acidity of your client’s saliva and diet plays a big part on how long an application lasts. The average time however, would be approximately one year.
You can still undergo regular teeth whitening treatments with a gem in place. The technician simply needs to apply their HP gel around the gem. We recommend a teeth whitening treatment prior to application for optimal results. Check out our Teeth Whitening + Gem Packages
Yes, it is perfectly normal and safe to have more than 1 gem on your teeth. We have packages for you to customise your smile with 3+ gems, you can add as many as 20 if you wish.
